East Meon Garden Club offers evening talks on a wide variety of gardening topics to interest gardeners of all abilities and experience.
Since 1986 the Garden Club have held open gardens once or twice a year.
Gardens throughout the village are open for one afternoon to inspire and delight visitors. Cream teas are served in the village hall and all monies raised on these afternoons go to the East Meon Good Causes Fund and supports a wide variety of local community projects, currently the extension to the East Meon School.
More than £37,000 has been raised since 1990 and we will continue to raise funds to help the local community.
Evening meetings are held on the first Monday of the month from October through to March
Meetings open from 7.15 p.m. with the speaker making a start at 7.30.
Everyone is welcome at Garden Club meetings, members are always free but we charge visitors a nominal fee, depending on the speaker.
Annual subscription is excellent value at £5.00 per person.
